Hospitality Cart Ribbon Cutting

A big moment of celebration took place in the Zone 9 lobby at OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois during the ribbon-cutting for the new Ronald McDonald Hospitality Cart!

This special cart was custom-built and generously donated by the Mid-America Carpenters, Business Representative Local 237 and made possible through our partnership with OSF HealthCare Children’s Hospital of Illinois. It’s designed to bring comfort directly to families at the bedside during their hospital stay.

From snacks and toiletries to small surprises that brighten the day, every item on the cart offers a touch of relief and care when it’s needed most.

Ronan’s Run for Ronald Jeep Event Raises Over $20,000 in His Memory

In loving memory of Ronan, the Marshall family and an incredible community of Jeep enthusiasts came together for Ronan’s Run for Ronald — raising an amazing $20,206 and donating essential household items to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois.

This special Jeep run was more than a ride — it was a heartfelt tribute that keeps Ronan’s legacy alive and brings comfort, hope, and care to those who need it most. Thank you for your unwavering support.

Heading Home with Full Hearts

We’re celebrating two special families who are heading home after weeks of care, hope, and healing at Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois. After 49 days in our Peoria House, the Norman/Tucker family is returning home, filled with gratitude and strength from their time with us. Meanwhile, at our Springfield House, the Steinmann/Robinson family is heading home after 9 days—with their precious new arrival, baby Aeryntheal! She’s the first girl after six big brothers and is already surrounded by love and protection.

These moments remind us why Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois exists—to provide comfort, care, and a place to stay close during life’s most challenging times.

Pawsitive Therapy Dogs spread joy, comfort, and a whole lot of love at our Springfield House during our “Doughnuts and Dogs” breakfast gathering! Families were all smiles as they enjoyed sweet treats and cuddles from our furry friends.

Moments like these bring warmth and healing to our House, one wag at a time.

Round-Up for RMHC

Every time you visit a participating McDonald’s, you have the opportunity to support families with critically ill children. Just ask to “Round-Up for RMHC” when placing your order at the kiosk, counter, or drive-thru.

In 2024, your support helped provide 486 families with 9,128 nights of comfort, care, and hope at Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central Illinois.
